Midway Village Museum, Zion Development receive first Lundin preservation grants

Midway Village Museum and Zion Development will each receive $2,000 for separate historic preservation projects.

The grants were announced Wednesday during the River District's Heart of Rockford Awards at the MetroCentre. The museum and the nonprofit development group are the inaugural recipients of the Jon W. Lundin Historic Preservation grant program, which is managed by the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois.
